Change background color on Duster theme?

    Custom background color on Duster theme not working. When I go to the customize page the color does change to what I want but it does not translate to the actual site it stays the default color. I put this in forums but have had no response so here I am…please respond even if to say no can do.

    Hi there,

    I’m so sorry for the delay. We’re a bit behind on tickets right now. We try to not ever take this long to respond!

    I’m not quite sure how you were able to change to the Duster theme, as it has been retired since 2011 or so. I do not believe that it can be modified in the way in which you are looking to do without the Custom Design add-on.

    With that said, the Twenty Eleven (http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/twentyeleven/) theme kindof took over for the Duster theme. it looks quite similar and can change background color if you so choose!

    Thanks for the response. Interesting… I just recently changed to Duster on another blog with no problem and no custom design stuff. If something is retired why does it still show up as available? I will try out the Twenty Eleven theme.
