Hi
Pretty much a code illiterate here, is there any way to change the background colour for comment replies?
seeHere
It’s coming up white on a white background…
Cheers!

Hi there – try this and let me know if it helps.
/* Change background on author comments */ ol.commentlist li.comment.bypostauthor > article { /* remove background color completely */ background: none; /* ** Optional ** then set background color to a transparent white */ background: rgba(255,255,255,.1); } /* ** Optional ** Set comment divider to same color as post author comment background, so it blends in better */ ol.commentlist li.comment { border-bottom-color: rgba(255,255,255,.1); }The second line, with the rgba, sets the post background to an almost completely transparent white, so that the post author’s comments still stand out as different, but not nearly as much as they would if they were white.
If you don’t like this just remove that line of code and the /* comment */ above it.
Once you do that you’ll see that the white line that is set up to separate comments might look a little awkward above the post author’s comment. That second line with border-bottom-color will tone the border down a bit.

PS – if it helps at all, that bit of CSS, in its entirety, should get your comments section looking like this – http://postimg.org/image/qwy1srvf7/
All the best!
