Change background colour of contact form

  Hoping for help about my Contact Form.
  Am having trouble changing the background colour of the form on my home page.
  It seems to have the same background as the rest of the page, which makes it a little bit hard to see.

  Used this code in my CSS stylesheet but it doesn’t work:

  div.wpcf7 {
  background-color: #FFFFFF;
  }

  So, I want a white background.
  What am I doing wrong?

  }

  Hi again prasannthakkr,
  Your idea works … sort of!
  It makes all of my page background white.
  I was hoping to retain the tone in the background, except for where the contact form is positioned.
  Is there a way I can do this?

  Hi Stuart,

  This should do the trick:

  #contact-form-250 {
  background: #a1b2c3;
  }

  Of course, you can change the #a1b2c3 to any HEX color code you want. Also, the div is page-specific so if you wish to do the same transformation on other pages you will have to tweak it a bit.
