Change background colour of top drawer

    I need help with using the top drawer (like top bar) in Academia theme.

    I need to change the background colour and the text colour. I have changed the background colour in theme options/styling options, but isn’t reflected on the live site.

    I’ve look in the Editor and the css but cannot find where to change it.

    I also need to amend the spacing/padding so the content appears in the middle of the bar rather than at the top.

    Hi there,

    Of what site are you speaking? Academia is not one of the themes we offer on WordPress.com, and your account also does not own any sites on our premium plan, which is a requirement for using custom CSS code.

    If you’re working on a WordPress site hosted somewhere else, please contact support for the specific theme you’re using directly for help with this.

    In this forum we can only help with sites hosted on WordPress.com, and with themes that are made by WordPress.com/Automattic.
