change background pickture of my theme

    hello :)

    i got startet a few minutes ago, and now i got a problem i cant get solved alone.
    I got the theme ‘Intergalactic’ there is an astronaut in the background in the middle, which i cant change. I uploadet a picture but i cant set it there as background.
    the only background i can change is the header, where you get random pictures you can use for free, but the astronaut background dosent change and cant be replaced. can you help me, please?

    ps.: sorry for my bad english, my native language is german.

    Hello @sophiesstoryworld,
    First of all, Welcome to WordPress.COM :)

    The astronaut image can be changed by changing the featured image of your post. To do that, Go to My Site → Blog Posts or just click here: https://wordpress.com/posts/. You will find a card list of all your posts there. At the bottom left corner of the post that you want to change the feature image of, click on EDIT, this will open the post editor. On the right sidebar of the post editor click on the Featured Image tab, and then click on SET FEATURED IMAGE button. Upload your image and click on the blue UPDATE button on the top right corner.

    Once, this is done the images will be updated on the page.
