  I want to change WordPress Value Bundle to just a domain name. I noticed that I’m due to be automatically billed today for $99 to maintain the Value Bundle, I really didn’t use it, but want to keep the ‘.com’ status. If I remember correctly, it costs around $15-20. what to do?

  Hi there,

  I can break apart the bundle for you so you can renew your domain only. The domain registration is $18 and if you want to keep your registration private it’s $8.

  hello and thanks for the prompt response! Great, I’d like to do the domain registration, but I’m not sure what my private registration entails. Do I need it? what does it do or what can happen if I don’t have it?

  Hi there,

  With private domain registration, you can set up a new domain name without making any of your contact information public. We talk about the difference between the two extensively (and with video!) at:

  Hi there,

  I have removed the expiring bundle from your account so you can renew the domain as an individual upgrade. You should see the option to renew it from your Store -> My Upgrades page. You’ll want to renew your domain as soon as possible, since the expiration date is on February 19 and you don’t want to risk losing it.

  If you change your mind about the private registration, you can cancel that part of the domain registration from the My Upgrades page prior to renewal.
