Hi there,
I’ve changed the currency to INR. You should see this upon refresh.
If you’re starting out, what kind of website are you looking to build? I can offer some advice on what you need and how to build the site.

Thanks mate. I switched from a self-hosted WordPress to WordPress Premium. But alas, got stumped by poor multi-lingual support. Will need to move back for the time being. Proper shame, had bought a 3-yr plan too. Here’s my parting feedback, hope it helps.
Automattic themes like Bibliophile have poor support for Indic languages in Devanagari and other scripts. I’d have liked to use a Google font that renders these well. But that’s not allowed even on the Premium plan.
A lot of my content will be in Sanskrit, and I’m switching to my self-hosted site as it allows me to customise typography better.

Hi there,
I’ve looked into the support history of this account, but did not see that theme language support has been discussed with staff in the past. Is it possible that I missed it somehow?
To be sure I understand, the issue is that when using the Bibliophile theme some elements appear correctly (based on the language you set in your site settings) but not all of the theme appears to be translated, yes? E.G. some elements of the site appear in English and not your preferred language.
Are you using Hindi as your language setting? I see that this theme is currently only 26% translated but if you are willing to help by submitting translations directly, we would love to help you in getting them approved. This will also help anyone else that also wishes to use this theme in the same language.
You can learn more about how to submit translations here: https://translate.wordpress.com/getting-started-with-wordpress-com-translation/

Hey no you haven’t missed anything. It’s not language support in interface, I’m perfectly fine with English. My gripe was with limited non-Latin support in the fonts included with Bibliophile theme. Premium plan doesn’t allow custom fonts, and I don’t need Business features and the added expense it brings. So had to go back to self-hosted blog sadly. You should think of allowing people to use custom fonts in Premium.
Here’s a comparison:
Night and day. All I need is Bibliophile with a custom font from Google fonts. Currently not possible in Premium :)

[…] All I need is Bibliophile with a custom font from Google fonts. Thanks for that feedback, @siranimesh.
Adding outside fonts or any outside code requires our Business Plan because of the way our site management infrastructure is set up, and that setup does cost more, but we can certainly pass along requests for specific fonts to be “built in” if you’d like. I see Eczar on your self-hosted site — are there others?
-
Eczar would do for languages in Devanagari script, thanks. I am afraid I do not know which fonts render Chinese-Japanese-Korean characters well. Or other Indic languages like Tamil. Hope this helps.

Hello – currency in my site is Not correct. Why do I need to ask Support? Why can’t I just fix this? Please fix my site as you are doing for so many others. My site is:

Hi @onemorestarmedia
The site you mentioned is not hosted on WordPress.com. Are you looking to migrate your site to your WordPress.com account? The account currency is INR now. Let me know if you’d like us to change it to another currency.
-
Hi. I do Not want to migrate my site. I DO want the correct currency on my site in USD please.
-
Hi @onemorestarmedia,
I’ve set your WordPress.com account’s currency to USD. However, that will not have any effect on your site onemorestarmedia.com as it’s not hosted by us. It uses the WordPress.org software and appears to be hosted by GT Host.
Please let me know more about the currency issue you’re having so that I can point you in the right direction of getting support.
