Change blavatar
-
I am trying to change my blavatar for one of my blogs, ‘How To Get Up From An All Time Low.’ The help page is out of date and the option to upload an image from the ‘settings>general’ menu very definitely doesn’t exist on my wordpress – I’ve tried following the instructions on the help page and a forum question, both of them had the exact same instructions and my settings>general page doesn’t have the same options they refer to. I managed it for my other blog, can’t remember what I did!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Right.

Nope.
I’ve tried following the instructions on the help page and a forum question, both of them had the exact same instructions and my settings>general page doesn’t have the same options they refer to.

Thank you for the link, and for taking the time to help, I have changed the picture.
I am going to add the following information, for anyone else with the same problem, because I know these are searchable and before I posted this question I only found older queries repeatedly linking back to the obsolete instructions:
Without using the last link in the link above, that page is not reasonably findable by following the instructions, because when you go to the “my sites” menu to reach the settings>general page from the new interface (which is a totally different page, but has the same name, and is the only one accessible from the new interface), it does not take you to the same page or to a page with the same options.
When, on the other hand, you directly follow the link, the rest of the process is just in front of you, rendering the instructions pointless. Either way, they are redundant. This is something the WordPress people might like to address at some point, because there is no reasonable way to find that page (linked above, he’s put it as “your page”, change my blog title for your own to get your URL) from the menu of the same name in the new settings page if you don’t know how to get to it in the first place, thus creating more queries like this one and wasting everyone’s time.
I hope this helps other people with the same problem because I remember totally chancing on how to do this for my other blog.

Where was mentioned “My sites” in the instructions?

P.S.: BTW, I don’t use the new editor Beep Beep Doom or the new interface. They have a lot of bugs.
I use the classic/old editor. And the classic/old dashboard:
