  Hello! I registered my blog a while ago with the below URL, but I don’t want to use it anymore (I only posted once). I bought the domain name “splendidlysimple” and want to change to that as my blog. I thought I found the way to do this in help, but the instructions it’s giving me don’t match what’s on my dashboard. How do I start the process of changing to the new url and recreating my blog from scratch?

  In order to use the domain on a free hosted WordPress.com blog you have to purchase a domain mapping upgrade and follow the instructions to map to an existing domain.
