change blog address

  I just tried to change my esradekkers.wordpress.com to believes.wordpress.com. In first place the machine didn’t tell me the address was occupied. Now I can’t change it at all to that address. Is it still possible to change to the second address mentioned above?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The authors have deleted this site.

  That’s not possible and it’s clearly stated in the relevant support docs. Blog deletion is a permanent and irreversible act. Deleting a site requires ignoring several warnings that the URL cannot be registered again by you or anyone else. https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

  Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made. http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

  You can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

  Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.
