Change Blog Address link

  I need to Change Blog Address link of my WordPress blog. We have changed our Trade Name from Perry & Associates Residential Real Estate to Faulk & Foster REALTORS and I need to change the blog’s address due to this change. I have tried to follow the directions but it will not let me edit the address, I have been trying for hours and can’t get it to work like the directions say it works.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Are you receiving any kind of error messages?

  Can you try:

  • Visit https://perryandassociates.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs
  • Hover over the blog you are trying to rename. You should see a Change Blog Address link displayed under the Address column. Click that link.
  • You should be taken to a page where you can enter your new address.

  Does that work?

  Oh yea I have tried that, but it only gives me the option to leave the blog. I’m about to pull my hair out over this and I’m already bald headed. Thanks for the help though. Let me know if you have any more ideas.

  Again the reason for this change is, we operated a real estate brokerage by the name of Perry Residential & Associates Real Estate and we decided to get a new trade name so now we have the Trade Name “Faulk & Foster” REALTORS (with REALTORS being a Service Mark) and we need to change the address of this blog from perryandassociates.wordpress.com to faulk-foster.wordpress.com

  I have tried everything I know to do and NO SUCCESS! SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME!!

  Could you please verify you are logged in as an administrator for the site? I don’t know that you would see the “Leave Blog” option if you were; the options should be Change Blog Address and Transfer Blog.

  Below is what shows in my browser, isn’t this in admin mode??

  Again, but the only thing that appears when I hover over the address is “Leave Blog”

  It looks like that should be the correct page. Do you see a column titled Role? If not, it may be hidden from your view.

  • Click Screen Options in the top right corner of the page.
  • A new box should appear at the top of the page to allow you to select what columns are displayed; verify there is a checkbox next to Role.
  • You can click Screen Options again to hide this box.

  Does it list you as Administrator next to perryandassociates.wordpress.com?
