change blog address refusal

  Please could you help me?

  I have set up a new blog to my name initiaaly as amblesidesummer.wordpress.com
  Then I thought better and wanted to change it inot amblesidesummerschool.wordpress.com
  I made a mistake by creating a new blog of this name. then I found the option of changing the address on the tool bar and deleted the newly created blog.

  However,, for two days now I am being refused to change the address into http://www.amblesidesummerschool.wordpress.com and the reason is given that the address already exist.

  I have checked if it does and the general information from wordpress.com says: the users have deleted the blog.

  Please, I need to change the address – could you help me?
