  Is it possible to change the name of your blog once you have it up and running?

  you can change the name by going and editing the title in the options. The URL you are stuck with I’m afraid.

  Presumably you have “canearl.wordpress.com” or similar which you want to change?

  You can sign up for a second blog with a different name by logging in and going to the wp.com homepage.
