Change blog name

  I read below about this, but still want to know.

  I have a blog i never used and i want to change its name and start using it, keep my username and email address, i think i can do it in the delete site page with an option, will it not harm any of my other blogs.

  All blogs are independent and changing the URL ie. blog address of any blog has no impact on any other blogs registered under the same username account.

  Thanks TT, I wanted to make double sure :) before I started, so I can do it in the delete page option.

  Deleting a blog ie. a site is not the same thing as deleting a Page.

  To delete a free hosted WordPress.COM blog you must be logged in under the exact same username account that registered a blog to delete the blog. To prevent accidental or inadvertent deletion of blogs, there are multiple warnings given that blog deletion is permanent and irreversible. Lastly, a verification link is sent in an email and must be clicked to delete a blog. If clicking that link does not work then copy and paste it into your upper browser window and click.

  Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.

  I think the OP was asking if a blog name change wouldn’t affect any other blogs on the account, which is correct.
  
  @dribblingpensioner as long as you follow the guide you linked to for changing the blog name you should be fine.

  TT a little problem, or maybe not.

  I hope you can follow this :)

  I went to my blogs and I can see all three of them, my two main blogs have no email at them, but the one I’m changing has a different email, but when I go to its personal setting its got the email I use for the other blogs, should / could I change the email in my blogs for the one I’m changing.

  What I’m trying to say is , does it not matter about the email address in my blogs as long as the email in personal settings is the same as the rest.
