Change blog name

    I want to change the name and URL of my blog. I started trying and think I have reserved the name that I want to use so that it’s no longer available. Is there a way I can have it? And do I have to delete my blog and start a new one to give it a new name?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

    Re: changing the title of the blog :
    You can change the title of your blog by going into your Dashboard, then into Settings > General. There you will see ‘Site Title’ with a text box with the name of your blog in there.

    Once you have typed your changes, at the bottom of the window you must click save for any changes to be saved.

    Re: changing your URL of your blog :
    You can change your blog address to newname.wordpress.com ( here ‘newname’ is the new url name you want for your blog, provided its not already taken), by following these steps listed in this link below …

    But if you or anyone else has owned this blog url in the past and deleted, it may not be available for reuse.
    Once a WordPress account is deleted the url becomes unavailable. The blog addresses are not recycled.
