Change Bushwick post format

  Using the Bushwick theme and have multiple contributors to the blog. Someone posted a post as an aside so the title doesn’t show up correctly (meaning at all) on the front page. I have no idea where to edit this. I have checked on my admin account and the contributors account and there is no format option in the post settings. please help

  Hi there!

  You can edit the format of the post through the editor. You’ll find the available formats listed underneath the Publish settings:

  I only have Publish, Categories, and Tag. There is no Format drop down.

  could that Format section be turned off somewhere else in settings?

  however the “aside” issue is of concern on the front page theocult.com because you will notice that the second post in the list is without a title, even though it has a title.

  I’ve asked our team to look into this, since it looks like the Bushwick theme doesn’t support post formats.

  Hi there!

  We’ve fixed the post format for you so the title appears again.

  It would be really helpful if I could find out how your contributor posted their content. Which ‘New Post’ link they used. Anything at all so I can make sure this doesn’t continue happening! :)

  At the top of your page, click new post and then select text. Here is the kicker… she didn’t put a title in at first and saved it as a draft. If you put a title in through the same means and save it as a draft then it saves is as a regular post instead of an aside.

  ugh… so it happened again for this post. I emailed all the contributors to make sure they don’t use the New Post link in the upper right, but could the WP team fix this post too? Thanks.

  Hello!

  We’ve fixed that post for you, and we’ve fixed the Bushwick theme so that if this happens again the title of the post should display just like any other non-Aside formatted posts.
