Change category-font in featured articles in Gazette theme homepage

  I added shadow to the title of the three articles displayed on the top of the website, but now the category-name has also shadow, and that’s not my intention. Is there anybody who knows the CSS that adds the shadow only to the title?

  Try this.

  h1.entry-title {
      text-shadow: 0 0 0.125em rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.3);
  }

  Unfortunetely, that doesn’t work.

  The code I’m using is this:

  .featured-content a {
  color: #f2e8c4;
  text-shadow: 2px 2px 2px #666;
  }

  The strange thing is that the shadow appears on both the title and the category name, but that the color only appears to the title.

  Try removing your code and adding:

  h1.entry-title {
      text-shadow: 2px 2px 2px #666;
  }

  This might be a better way.

  .featured-content .entry-title a {
      text-shadow: 2px 2px 2px #666;
  }
