Change Color in Vigilance Theme
-
Hi, I am new to WordPress and I picked the Vigilance theme for my blog, http://ultimatecphq.wordpress.com/ because it allows me to change the color scheme. When I go do the options, it tells me to use hex values and leave out the leading #. How do I do this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You cannot upload the version of Vigilance to your wordpress.COM blog because it’s for wordpress.ORG and the software is different. There is no FTP access to wordpress.COM blogs and wordpress.COM blogs do not have plugins either.
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/please-read-me-first-before-posting?replies=1The only themes we can use at wordpress.COM are found here < Apperance > Themes
You can change the background, border, link and hover colors on the Vigilance theme here > Appearance > Vigilance Options
You can change the customizable header here > Appearance > Custom header
For best results with images always optimize and resize them to the exact size priot to uploading them into your wordpress.COM blog.

Here us a chart of hexidecimal colors. http://html-color-codes.com/ Note that there is no umber sgn (#) in their codes. You simply plug the numbers into the correct places on the Vigilance Options and click “Save Changes”
