change color of parts of a post
-
Hi. I’m just getting going with my blog and trying to change the color of parts of my text in a post and it’s not working…is there a way to do this with CSS (I assume so just have no clue how). Appreciate the help! I’m using the adelle theme and can customize my theme…
I want to make some headings which I have made bold in a post, in a different color than the standard post color, on my consultations page.
Thanks so much!

Hi, If you are wanting to change the color of selected text within posts and pages, but not the color of all the text in a post or page, the easiest way to do it would be to use the text color feature built into the post and page editor. You can learn more about that here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/#text-color .
If you will be changing some text within each post to a different color, a CSS class could be created and then define the color in that CSS rule. If that is what you want to do, then let us know and we can guide you on the CSS and what you would have to do within each post to apply that styling.
