    Hi there,

Changing the colour of the font would require CSS which would be only applied if you have a paid plan/upgarde at wordpress.com.

If you already have a plan for your website, mention your request at : https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/css-customization/

If not, all of our plans, features, and pricing are available at : https://wordpress.com/pricing/

    Hi chartschartswriter,

(just adding to what smitsahatiya was saying, hope you don’t mind smitsahatiya!)

You could try and see if a different palette might have a header color that suits you better than the one you currently have. (these palettes come with your current theme)

    1. Navigate to Customize -> Colors & Backgrounds, there you will see a button titled “Palettes”.
    2. Click on the “Palettes” button you can see 6 different palettes. From here you can try clicking on each palette in turn and see if any has a header color that you like better than the one you have now.
    3. Don’t worry about the background color changing when you click the palettes, you can change the background color back to white by clicking on the “Manual” button and selecting the white color for your background.
    4. If you don’t like the new colors you can always hit the “Default” button at the top which will restore your theme colors back to the default colors.

Let us know how you get on with that.
