You were right, I need your help again;-)
Something a bit odd happened.
On the “Stealth Team” Nav button, I use to be able to do a two finger scroll all the way down to the last name (There are about 20 notable contributors), and all of a sudden, when I attempt a two finger scroll the drop down just disappears now. I only get to see less than half the names on the screen, and can not scroll down to the bottom half, as the box simply disappears as soon as I touch the pad for a two finger scroll now.
It never happened this way before, and I have not changed my pointer touchpad settings. The only thing I have been changing is the CSS coding……….
BTW, It’s fine if you arrow down, just not the two finger scroll. Very weird development.
What gives here…………….any ideas?

Hmmm, are you talking about on your desktop/laptop? I was able to do a two-finger scroll using the trackpad. If I go past the bottom though the menu then closes.
I did notice that you have the mobile menu activated at Appearance > Mobile. Did you intend this? With a responsive designed theme such as Hemingway Rewritten, it is designed to work with all devices.
I certainly don’t seen anything in your CSS that would cause this.

You may well be right, I did just change that Mobile setting feature. Let me check on that, and revert.

I really don’t get this.
The drop down opens, and just as soon as I initiate a two finger scroll it just vanishes. This has never happened before, and I’m nearly positive that I haven’t changed anything in the past 2 days, other than the CCS stylesheet changes???
Very frustrated by this unwanted development…….

I did recently add an exterior bluetooth adapter to the Laptop, but it even does this when BT is in the off mode…………….so I highly doubt that would be it.

I just installed an optical mouse and it works fine, thus it must be an issue with my track pad.
Not sure what to do here……………
Seems to be a hardware issue……….very odd that it just popped up seemingly out of nowhere.

Double check your trackpad settings. I’ve once in a while had a setting “mysteriously” change on me. Glad you are at least narrowing things down though.

Well, the good news is that it has nothing to do with my site on WP.com. All drop down boxes disappear as soon as I two finger scroll on them with all sites. It’s a universal snafu!
Does anyone have any ideas as to what’s up with that???

Have you checked with Synaptics to see if they can take a look at your site and see if they can tell what is causing the issue? Given it is happening on all sites with dropdowns, I would think they should look into it.

Well, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Synaptics driver, and that was a no go. So yes, I’ll give them and HP a call to see how that goes.
Needless to say, I’m not particularly looking forward to it;-)
