Hi there!
It’s possible to change the title colour of the title on the Eighties theme with some custom CSS.
If you’re not familiar with CSS, it’s a coding language that’s used across the web to define the appearance of websites. Here at WordPress.com, it’s possible to add CSS to customise parts of your site’s design. You can read more a little more about this here:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/custom-css/To add custom CSS for changing the title’s colour on your site, could you firstly head to My Sites in WordPress.com. From here, select Customize in the left-hand sidebar. You’ll then reach what’s known as the WordPress.com Customizer. Here’s a direct link there for you:
https://wordpress.com/customize/julieb.com.arFrom here, click on the CSS tab. Below the introductory text in the resulting editor, copy and paste the following CSS snippet:
.site-title a, .site-description { color: #FFAEB9; }From the above snippet, you can change the value for colour to the hex code for the colour you wish your title to be. There’s some good online resources that give you the needed hex codes for different colours, for example:
http://cloford.com/resources/colours/500col.htmIt’s also worth noting that the snippet I provided changes the colour of the site title and the site tagline.
Let me know if this helps, if anything needs clarifying, or if you’d like to tweak the results from the snippet I provided. :)
