Change comment box text color

    I want to change just the color of text in the comment input box. The theme text color is fine everywhere else, but it tries to apply it to the comment box and it looks like off-white on white which is hard to read (same with the search box). Can I change the color of text in these input boxes with CSS? Or another way?
