change comment/reply form to allow user to include website link
-
Hi –
I’ve spent over an hour searching for the answer to my issue. The closest I came was a user having the exact opposite issue; she did not want to allow users to add a website to their comment form.In my blog using the Wilson theme, the comment form does not allow users to add their website to their log in, and it only allows users to log in with certain other accounts, “Please log in using one of these methods to post your comment” then shows logos for wordpress, twitter, facebook, and google+.
I’d like to allow users to add a link to their websites, and to have more control over how they log in; not requiring they use the exact name they use with those other accounts. The correct email is enough for me.
Can the comment/reply form be changed?
Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Are you sure you’re talking about WordPress.com? You can change those settings on the Discussion page of your Settings.

Thanks for the reply – I figured it out right after I sent the question. In the “other comment settings” the box next to “users must be registered” was checked. All fixed now.
