change contact email address for new subscribers notification

    I created a blog for my partner some years ago. Whenever a new person subscribes to the blog, I get an email notification. I would like these notifications to go to my partner’s email address instead but I can’t find where to change it.

    My apologies. This is the first time I’ve used this forum and I’m unfamiliar with its ways. The forum software has automatically added a line saying “The blog I need help with is 21stscentree.wordpress.com.” This is incorrect but I can’t find how to edit my post. The actual blog in question is http://www.mcanaraks.com.

    The blog http://www.mcanaraks.com/ is not hosted at WordPress.com. The name servers are pointed to https://justhost.com so you may want to try to contact them for support.

    My apologies, damiannep, Something came up, I got sidetracked, then forgot about this post. So rude of me not to thank you for your help.

    I neglected to say in my post that the trouble is caused by a jetpack widget called “Blog Subscriptions.”

    I have found a direct jetpack support page where I am receiving help.

    Do you want to change that on your account, or do you wish to move the Jetpack connection to a new owner? Does your partner have an address here yet?

    Hi Supermovia, Thanks for getting involved. Yes, you’re right, I’ve had a reply from Jetpack support explaining that “Subscriptions are associated only with the account-holder of Jetpack at this time.”

    Not worth creating a separate Jetpack account for my partner to solve this one issue. However Jetpack support also suggested a workaround – set up an email forwarder to my partner. Should have thought of that myself! I’ve done it and it’s working, so I’ll leave it like that – problem solved.
