Change contact information for auto renew on domain mapping

  Hello,

  I need to change the contact person for auto renew on domain mapping, as I’m no longer managing a page, so I need to direct this towards the relevant person.

  I’ve look up at the info on this page: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/update-contact-information/ but unfortunately, I do not see the option to update ‘Domain Contact Information’., in either of the two admin accounts. Could you please advise how to do this, so that another admin can update the billing info for the auto-renewal?

  Hi Alexandra,

  The document you’re referring to explains how to change the contact details on domains registered at WordPress.com. Since your domain romaniaperfecta.ro is only mapped to WordPress.com, that will not apply.

  If I understand correctly, you want to update the billing so your card is not charged when the mapping upgrade is renewed. Is that correct?

  Currently, the upgrade is owned by another user account. There are two options:

  1. I can help you to transfer the upgrade to another user account. That way, the new user would be able to login and pay for the renewal.

  2. I can leave the upgrade on the current account. Then, we can just change the payment details for the renewal.

  For either case, I would need to work directly with the current upgrade owner. Could you have the owner of the upgrade reply back here?
