Change CSS

New to WP and trying to figure out how to edit the CSS…i have paid for the upgrade…do i have to write my own? Why can’t I see the current CSS in order to change it up a bit?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The CSS upgrade is unsupported so you are pretty much on your own. If you view the source code of your blog you will find the URL to your theme’s CSS file in the head section in a link tag. You can then view all the current styles and make any additions or changes. This article on editing CSS is pretty much required reading too. If you have any specific questions then ask away. We’ll need a link to your blog or at least the theme you are using as the blog your name links to here in the forum is set to private.

We need a link to your blog before we can help. Some themes allow you to use a custom background which you will find on your dashboard in Appearance > Background. To see a list of themes that support this check the “Custom Background” box from the filters on the theme selection page.

I need help with my blog, I just bought a domain and upgraded so that I change the css. I’m wanting my blog to look more like a store, where my jewelry is on the main page with a shopping cart for each. then a pg. for news and sales and so forth…. can someone help me?
Also I’m wanting the background to be black with font pink and gold.
