change currency

Hi there, I would like to ask, whether you can help me to change the currency. I sign up to wordpress in Sydney (where I am living at the moment) so the currency has been set up to AUD by default. But I am building a web page for Slovak, where I will run the business and so I need to pay for everything from my Slovakian Bank Account and therefore I need to change the currency to EUR. I can’t use the support, because at the moment I am only on free version. Thank you for help.

I have the same issue with this account. I already sent an email to help@wordpress.com. But this is quite urgent and I would like to try my luck and help me with this as well. My current currency is PHP and I would like to change it to USD.

I’ve taken a look at your account, and I have good news. Because you are on the Free plan and haven’t made a purchase yet, your account isn’t locked to AUD. The system is simply showing you Australian Dollars because it detects you are currently in Sydney.
How to pay in EUR: You do not need to change any settings right now. When you are ready to upgrade or buy a domain:
- Go to the checkout page.
- In the Billing Information section, change the country to Slovakia.
- The currency will automatically update to EUR once the address is entered.
@support3ed968db2c – As long as you haven’t made previous purchases on your account, the same logic applies to you!
When you go to checkout, simply select United States (or your preferred region for USD) as your billing country, and the system will update the currency to USD for you.
