Change currency CAD to USD

    Hi I have moved to the states from Canada, and need to change my account currency from CAD to USD before purchasing a new plan. Can a mod please support me in this?

    Hello there!

    It looks as though the website ryanmacdowell.com is a self-hosted WordPress.org site rather than WordPress.com. Is this the website that you require these changes on or another WordPress.com hosted site? If so, please provide the URL for the website in question.

    Ok I think I needed to change my primary website to rmacdowell.wordpress.com. Can you please see if this allows you to change my currency now?

    If you would like this website and plan to be under your current account you can do this by heading to your My Sites dashboard selecting Plan from the menu and selected the Upgrade button for the Personal plan. You will run through the set up process and have the ability to use your domain credit to register your new domain.

    Help from staff will be required to change your currency so I will add modlook tag into the tags section in the right sidebar. Once added Staff will be in touch within a few hours to look into your inquiry. If you are uncomfortable to run through the above process, feel free to wait for them to get in touch and they can offer assistance.

    I have changed the currency of your WordPress.com account rmacdowell from CAD to USD. Upgrades may now be purchased in USD.
