Change date layout on posts

  This place is way to complicated. I will tell you know I know nothing about ccs. On posts, it automatically does some stupid date thing. my post from today, it says:

  2
  2011
  I certainly don’t want it like that, I’m not from Europe where the numbers are all backwards haha. I would just like to have some standard layout. Is that too much to ask for or am I stuck with this? Thanks!

  If you know nothing about CSS, don’t buy the CSS upgrade. If you want to change the date layout, it’s under Settings->General. If you still don’t like the way it displays, you can change themes.

  Go to settings > general and you can change the date format. Scroll down this support document and it explains things.

  Do note that there are a few themes here that do not grab the date format from the wordpress core, but have it coded into the PHP script files, which we cannot change.
