Change date on entry?

  I just transferred my entries from a different blog server but am uncertain how to change the dates on them. As it stands now, here at WordPress, all the entries have the same date… today. I’d like to change the date for each entry to reflect the date I actually wrote them. Is there anyway for me to do that? Thanks! RetroWife

  What other blog server was this?

  You can modify the dates and times by editing the post. The easiest way to do so would be at Dashboard -> Manage where your posts are listed and you should see edit links along the right hand side. Once you click on that link, it’ll bring you to the Edit Post page. You should see a tab along the right hand side labeled Post TimeStamp. That’s where you can change the infomation. Be sure to check that box Edit Timestamp or it won’t take.

  Following the instructions would make a great deal of sense as the only way to achieve what you want is to follow the instructions. What boggles my mind is that you would post to such an old thread rather than just going on about your business and changing the date/timestamp.
