Change default palette on Goran Theme?
-
Hi! I’m new to WordPress. New site, using Goran Theme.
A friend installed goran on their web page, and sent me a little video to show me how to change the Goran Palette, but I don’t seem to have that ability on my site… why?
a) Why would my version of Goran behave differently than another? How do I get my version of Goran to play nice?
I don’t know where to go for support… my hosting site? wordpress?
b) How do I change the default palette from the ugly red to a blue palette?
Thanks, Nancy

Hi Nancy!
Welcome to WordPress :) Your blog is using the self hosted version of WordPress (WordPress.ORG) and is hosted by GoDaddy, not by wordpress.COM. Although they are named similarly, they are separate softwares!
You can read about the differences between wordpress.COM and wordpress.ORG here: WordPress.com and WordPress.org
I don’t know where to go for support… my hosting site? wordpress?
If you submit your question to the wordpress.ORG forums they can assist you with customizing your theme. You can access their forums here: WordPress.org Forums
Let me know if you have any follow up questions!

Hi Ashley,
I do have a follow up question. Unfortunately, I don’t know how to reply directly to you… There’s no “reply” button … hopefully you’ll see this.
How did you know that my site was self hosted, and where it was hosted? When you looked at the site, where and how did you find that information? It’s just a little thing, but I wasn’t sure where you found that information.
Thanks again,
Nancy

Hi @nancydchurchill,
You can see where a website is hosted by using a site such as http://www.whoishostingthis.com/ and checking the hosting information.
When I search for your site (http://www.whoishostingthis.com/?q=churchillcopywriting.com), I can see that is it hosted by GoDaddy and not WordPress.com.
I hope this helps! Feel free to reply or post a new thread if we can help with anything else.
