Change default Thumbnail in Homepage with Cubic
-
Hello,
When I make a post I insert few photos but I would like to define which photo will be in homepage ( square thumbnail).
So how I can define the default thumbnail ?
Thanks

Hi @tomvin100!
Cubic will use the post’s Featured Image in the home page grid, and then also display a large version of that image when the individual post is opened like in the demo:
https://cubicdemo.wordpress.com/Since the Featured Image is shown at the top, you may not want to include it in the post itself (that would mean it is displayed twice). Or you could include it, but not at the top (see The Lake post on the demo site above as an example)

Thanks for the reply. I forgot to say in my question that I don’t want featured image in my post because I don’t like the big image at the top of my posts…

No problem! You can open My Site > Customize > Content Options, and uncheck the box for Display on single posts under Featured Images :)

In the custom menu I haven’t the “content options”. I just have ” Site Identity” – ” Menus” – Widgets” – “Static Homepage” – “Theme options” and ” Additional CSS”.
In all these settings I haven’t the “Featured Images” -
Not all themes support Content Options – it looks like your site is currently using Sequential, not Cubic. Once Cubic is active on your site, you’ll be able to manage the settings I’ve described :)
