change DNS

  Hi,

  I have bought the domain http://WWW.RETTILINEOTRIBUNA.IT and today I have bought 10 credits for “Add Domain” to my blog http://RETTILINEOTRIBUNA.WORDPRESS.COM.

  When I try to change the DNS to NS1.WORDPRESS.COM – NS2.WORDPRESS.COM – NS3.WORDPRESS.COM , I receive the follow error message:

  Top level country domains don’t always work well with wordpress.com. Contact support with this error message, they may need to edit some settings before you can make this work.
  http://wordpress.com/contact-support/
  I had to do that in my own case some time ago.

  Probably the problem was the zone setup for the domain.
  Now I have change the DNS and the result is ok.

  So, How many hours needs for the propagation of the new DNS?

  Now, If I try to add the new domain http://www.rettilineotribuna.it i received the message that I have the change the dns and buy 10 credits for the mapping (I have just bought the credits…)

  “Zone setup”, yes, that’s the “settings” I was referring to. In my case wordpress.com had to do that for me. The propagation can take anything from 12-48 hours to fully propagate. It could be that I see the change before you do.

  If you have already bought the 10 credits, you should be able to add the domain to your blog. However, you cannot switch to the domain until the propagation has gone through.

  It’s normal that, on http://dnsstuff.com (WHOIS Lookup box )for the Nameservers I just see:

  Nameservers
  ns1.wordpress.com
  ns2.wordpress.com
  ns3.wordpress.com

  but in this moment I’m not able to Add the domain?
