Change DNS nameserver to use bit.ly shortlink

  I am registered with Bit.ly Pro for a custom shortlink, but I do not know how to change the A record to point at the correct IP address for my shortlink.
  Is there any way to change the A record for a WordPress.com blog?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  If you purchase the domain upgrade for your WordPress.com blog, you can directly add an “A” record — and TXT and MX and CNAME records, too.
