Change DNS records for my hosted mail to work again
-
Hello,
I have bought a domain from namecheap and mapped it to my wordpress blog.
All worked out fine except for the email DNS thing.
Namecheap is writing this:
“This domain name is using third party DNS, please contact your DNS provider to add the following records:
mail.onorganon.eu IN CNAME 0 oxwebmail.registrar-servers.com.
onorganon.eu IN MX 10 oxmail1.registrar-servers.com.
onorganon.eu IN TXT 0 v=spf1 include:ox.registrar-servers.com ~all
onorganon.eu IN MX 10 oxmail2.registrar-servers.com.”So what I did was write this in the wordpress DNS editor:
CNAME 0 oxwebmail.registrar-servers.com.
MX 10 oxmail1.registrar-servers.com.
MX 10 oxmail2.registrar-servers.co.
TXT 0v=spf1 include:ox.registrar-servers.com ~allBut it still doesn’t seem to work. What am I doing wrong? What am I supposed to write instead.
Thanks for your help, I really read a lot of things and am coming to you in very last after not finding anything to help me.
Regards,
Sophie. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Sophie,
There were a couple of little typos in what you had; I’ve cleaned it up. Can you let me know if your email doesn’t start working by tomorrow?
Thanks!
