Change domain

  Hi There,

  I am due to auto renew my existing domain on 14 Sept 2014. My primary domain is ‘chaturanga-clare.com’. However I want to change it to ‘chaturanga-clare-yoga.com’.

  What should I do?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello there!

  Domain names cannot be edited. Once they’re registered, they’re “permanent” unless they expire, or are canceled by their owners.

  If you no longer want to use chaturanga-clare.com, I suggest registering chaturanga-clare-yoga.com at your earliest convenience. Then, you can make chaturanga-clare-yoga.com your primary domain. By doing this, anyone who goes to chaturanga-clare.com will be taken to your new site name: chaturanga-clare-yoga.com. During this overlap, your visitors can learn your new site URL, so you don’t lose them or confuse them when you switch over.

  Your old domain expires on October 10, 2014, so you have a nice amount of time to inform your followers of the domain adjustment.

  To register a new domain, please go to your Dashboard and click Store. Then, Add a domain.
