  I would like to change my domain name from recoveryisprogress.wordpress.com to recoveryisprogress.org. Please give to some simple steps on how to do this.

  Using a custom domain on your WordPressdotcom site requires a paid upgrade plan. https://wordpress.com/pricing/

  You can either register a new domain or map a domain you own. Here’s more on that: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/

  After purchasing the upgrade, follow the on-screen prompts to add your custom domain.
