Change domain mapping

I have several domains, and want to change the domain mapping from one blog to another. How do I do this?

I confess to being a WP newbie. I originally created a blog for a specific client, worked it for a while, then realized that I could create a WP domain that matched (xzy.com = xyz.wordpress.com, in other words). Somehow I got things all turned around, and the blog that points to the domain isn’t the one I want.
I originally thought I could delete all the blogs I don’t need and reassign the domain to the right blog, but I’m having challenges. All I need, really, is a little step-by-step procedure to release the domain so I can attach it to the proper blog. I didn’t find this in the Help file; could I have missed it?

I just need to know the specific domain and what WordPress.com site you would like it to point to. I am guessing that you’d like http://songsbybob.com to point to http://songsbybob.wordpress.com/. Is that correct?

Indeed it is, and thank you. I’ve been tearing my hair out about this. If I mess this up again the future, do I just send in a request to Support to handle it?
