change domain name

  Hi!

  I’m new to wordpress so my question might seem pretty dull, but here it is..
  I’ve purchased a domain name for my blog, but now i realize the name doesnt suit my page all that well, so i would like to change it and delete the domain i have now.

  Is that possible?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  It’s not possible to change the name of a registered domain. If you want you can register a new domain at Store > Domains on your blog’s dashboard and follow the steps there.

  Canceling a domain means you completely give up ownership of the domain and can take up to 35 days before it will become available to register somewhere. If you would like to completely cancel your ownership of the domain name, please reply to confirm.

  We are only able to offer a refund if we receive notification within 48 hours of the purchase.

  If you would like to transfer the domain to another registrar, you can use these steps.
