change domain name servers

How to I point the domain name server to another host from my previously WordPress hosted site?
I realize I should be able able to do this from within the WordPress dashboard under domain administration, but as I’ve changed hosting to another provider and the WordPress hosting expired 3 days ago, i am unable to make the change myself.
I need to have the the servers point to BlueHost or : ns1.BlueHost.com for jacobrauscherart.com.
This needs to happen before I finalize the transfer of the registration of my domain to BlueHost, so that the site I’ve built through BlueHost, who also hosts the site, will not be lost. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Please note that we are your domain’s registrar and your domain has expired. In order to transfer the domain registration the domain must be renewed. Please renew your domain and you can transfer it after.
Just a heads up – 2 weeks after a domain expires an $80 redemption fee will be placed on top of the price of the renewal. Please note this is placed on us by our registrar and cannot be waived, so renew this as soon as possible.
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

The domain was in fact registered with wild west domains, not wordpress. I have already arranged transfer from wild west domains (aka domains by proxy.com), I simply need wordpress to point the domain name server to bluehost.
My question now is ‘Why will you not point the domain name server to my new registrar and host, and why should I pay you for a service you won’t be providing?’ -
Hi there,
I believe there might be some confusion as to the difference between domain registration and hosting. First, we are your registrar (we use Wild West Domains) – you can only renew your domain through us, not WWD. We can update your nameservers to host with Bluehost, but please note, if your domain is expired no matter what, the hosting will not work. I can easily point your domain to Bluehost, but since your domain is expired it won’t work. Once your domain is renewed I can update your nameservers and it should be working shortly.
Please note in this scenario we are still your registrar and your host would be Bluehost so the domain registration must still be renewed through us and the domain hosting must be renewed through Bluehost.
If you want to transfer the domain registration to Bluehost as well, you can – but again, you cannot transfer an expired domain.
Please view this guide to see the difference between domain registration and hosting:
If you would like to keep this domain, please renew the domain as soon as possible.

Please point the wordpress name domain servers to bluehost. All information I can find through bluehost, domains by proxy, and WWD indicates that a transfer of domain is being made, however, if I receive notification otherwise, I’ll continue to deal with this problem. All information I’ve found through the aforementioned parties also indicates that my domain is registered through February of 2015. I have unlocked the domain and disabled the privacy through WWD and domains by proxy. I have also already paid for domain registration AND hosting through bluehost.
Again, please point wordpress domain name servers to bluehost.
I will continue to monitor the situation.
Thank you

I see that the transfer has gone through. I have accepted it. You can now change your nameservers through Bluehost.
