Change domain on premium account

    Our wordpress.com site with a premium account uses the domain soanz.org. I would like to change this to a different domain, how?

    Can I make the soanz address continue to work for the time being?

    Also if I purchase (elsewhere) a third domain name am I right that I can redirect from there to my new domain address registered with WordPress.com

    Staff will be able to swap the domain in your Premium plan. Request them by writing to help@wordpress.com.

    Just be aware that if you choose to map a domain, you will incur two annual costs. The price you pay to your domain registrar from whom you purchased your domain. The price of Domain Mapping upgrade to map your domain to your WordPress.com blog.

    So it may be cheaper if you purchase the domain from WordPress.com. But I understand, it is up to you.
