change email

  Hi. I need to change to email associated with my account as there is typo in it- therefore i cannot validate the blog i am trying to start.

  When i try to change it in my settings, I keep getting an error.

  Right now it is listed as (email visible only to moderators and staff) (Incorrect)
  And it needs to be (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  Help!

  Hi Sarah,
  Was the message “there was a problem saving your changes“? If so, that is often caused by trying to use an email address which is already registered with WordPress.com. If that’s the case you need to choose a different email to use or log into that other WordPress.com account and change the email so it becomes available again.

  If you’re sure the email is not being used with a WordPress.com account, add “modlook” to the tags for this thread. That will alert a staff member that you need assistance with this issue.
