Change email account for only one website

    I started building out a website for a community organization using my personal WordPress account. Is it possible to change that website’s WordPress account to the organization’s email address, without also changing the email contact for my personal website?

    WP.com: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

    Hi there,

    On WordPress.com, your email address is associated with your username account, not with individual sites in your account, so you can only change the email for your entire account.

    But you can move that site to another account instead.

    Log out of WordPress.com, and go to https://wordpress.com/start/account/user/
    to create a new username account using your organization’s email.

    Then log back into megrossontx and follow these steps to transfer ownership of the site to that new account:

    Then any notifications for that site will go to that account’s email instead of yours. Of course, it means you’ll have to switch accounts each time you want to use the other site, but you can also invite your megrossontx back as a user on the site if you wanted to:

    https://wordpress.com/en/support/user-roles/
