change email address

  i registered to wordpress with my domain account but is not working lately so i have intention to cancel it and make a new simple email address with gmail, i just want know once i have a new email address and the old one won t exist anymore how i can change the main address also here in wordpress to get in?.
  can you please answer me to (email visible only to moderators and staff) , it is really important because i m paying for the domain email address but i can not use it

  Hi there,

  You can change your account email address from here:

  https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/users.php?page=grofiles-user-settings

  Once you submit the request to change your email, a confirmation link will be sent to the new address. By clicking the link at the new address, you will confirm the email change. So, you should be alright even though the old email address is not functioning.
