Change Email address

  I need to change my wordpress.com email address…I created a site..but didn’t like it…so I did I new site…but I can change the email address in my new site because it says it’s being used. I deleted the old blog….but still can’t get my new site to use my correct email address.

  Need Help!

  Our contact ‘email’ and ‘website address’ is going to an account that we no longer use. I have updated this info a 100 times in settings but it still continues to go there. How do I get this issue corrected? I saw where this issue was posted in a prior forum but it did not provide a “detailed” resolutions. Please provide a detailed, step-by-step on how to fix this problem.

  You have two separate email address settings at WordPress.com.

  Blog notifications for the admin (like comment moderation, Likes, new subscriptions, etc) are sent to the email address at Settings -> General in the Dashboard.

  Personal notifications (like comments on your post, subscription emails, and upgrade renewals) are sent to the email address at Users -> Personal Settings in the Dashboard.
