Change email address

  I signed up with an email and now I want to change my email address (so I can delete the old one). How do I do that?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi

  If I understand you want to change the email address linked to your WordPress.com account. If so, just click at your icon (upper rigth corner) to see your account and then select Account. If your are logged in, you can reach this point with this link https://wordpress.com/me/account

  If you try to change your email address (second field) and click on Save Changes (Button at the bottom), WordPress.com will send 2 emails to you: first one to the current email to warn you, and the second one to the new account to request confirmation.

  Hi, I just tried to do this but when I click Save, it says there is something wrong with my answers; essentially, it won’t “take” my new email address. I was with Clear.net and they discontinued the email service. My new email is (email visible only to moderators and staff) and my old one was (email visible only to moderators and staff). Here is my address on WP
