change email address

  The original email address associated with my wordpress.com account was:
  (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  I have changed it to:
  (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  However, when I am in the control panel to attempt to have an eep auth code sent to me the email address that comes up is (email visible only to moderators and staff) (which has been completely deleted).

  Can you help with this?

  Hi Phil,

  The email address listed with your domain registration contact information is not related to the email address you use for your WordPress.com account – when you updated that one, it didn’t automatically update the email address associated with your domain registration.

  You’ll have to update that contact information within the domain manager:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-management/#update-contact-information

  Please note that if you update the Organization field for the registrant contact, or update the First name and Last name fields for the registrant contact, your domain will be locked for 60 days (meaning you will be unable to transfer it to another registrar during that period).
