I am trying to change my email address on Mirella Muses but I get a message saying that the email is already being used

Where exactly are you trying to change the email address, and what email address are you trying to change to?
Mirella Muses is neither a WordPress.com username nor a site address, and on WordPress.com email addresses are tied to an account, not to individual sites.

My old email is (email visible only to moderators and staff) I would like to change to (email visible only to moderators and staff)

That email address is already in use with another account here, so you won’t be able to change your email address to it without releasing it from the other account first.
You can gain access to the other account following the steps at https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/

But I am able to login to my blog using the info I provided. I follow instructions but takes me to an unusable page, cant add info they require

Log out of WordPress.com, then use the process at https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/#password-reset-process with the Gmail address you want to use.

I have to be logged in to communicate with you, I cant gain access to what you are telling me I should be able to click and add info but the site wont allow me to, is there a way to communicate over the phone?

You have 2 account here, 1 under each email address.
To recover access to the account using the Gmail address, you do need to log out of the account you’re currently logged in to. This is mandatory, you cannot recover access to one account while logged in to another.
Then, you need to follow the steps at https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/#password-reset-process
The password reset for the account under the Gmail address will be emailed to the Gmail address, and you’ll be able to use the account that’s using the Gmail address.

Unaware of the second account, again the site only recognizes my shaw email and password

There is already an account here under the Gmail address you’re trying to use, I can assure you of that.

I tried to recover it and it still brings me to the Mirella Muses with all of the blog posts

I need more help than this can you assist in any other way please I would like to do snap shots of what i am seeing so that you can see what I am seeing

To clarify, you are getting the link to reset your password, but if you click on the link in that email, the web page it opens on to is for your @mlsacco account?
What I would like you to do instead is to “right click” on the reset password button, and “copy the link”
Then I want you to open an “incognito window” in chrome, and paste your link into that window. If you do that does it allow you to access your other account? If so please go to https://wordpress.com/me/account/ and change your email address there to something else so you can free up the address you want to use with this account.
