Change email address in profile

Hi there,
I have tried changing my email address in the profile and everywhere I can find it, but email notifications re comments still come to my old email. I must have missed it somewhere, but just can’t seem to find it?
It’s not such a big deal as I still have my old email, but when I post comments to other users whilst logged in it also leaves my old email for replies.
Further on, I helped a friend register a new account with wordpress and in order to set it up for her I used my email and asked her to change it once she started updating the blog herself which she has done, but I still receive the notifications about her comments as well. There is clearly somewhere we need to change it that we are missing. :-)

When you change your email address in your profile, you have to:
A. Click the “Update Profile” button at the very bottom of the page and
B. Reply to the confirmation email. -

That happened to me, too. Although I changed and confirmed my Profile email, comments still went to my old address. I discovered that I had to change my email in Settings > General, as well, and then respond to the confirmation email from WP. That took care of the problem and everything now goes where I want it to go.
